Abstract:

This paper presents a low loss and high selective lowpass FILTER which is implemented using suspended stripline (SSL) technology. The proposed structure is comprised of a 13th order generalized Chebyshev lowpass FILTER which enjoys integrated WAVEguide-to-SSL transitions. This FILTER is designed and fabricated to be used as lowpass channel of a U-band diplexer employed in frontend of a U-band down converter. Designed FILTER has cut-off frequency of 50 GHz with high performance out-of-band rejection and wide stopband associated with stepped-impedance resonators realized using generalized Chebyshev prototype. Final design of FILTER is analyzed and optimized using 3D full-WAVE simulator. FILTER circuit is realized on one side of a 0. 127 mm-thick TLY5 substrate with dielectric constant of 2. 2, which is suspended symmetrically in a WAVEguide channel with height of 0. 961 mm and maximum width of 2 mm. Higher order modes propagation effects on FILTER performance are investigated to have proper single mode operation. In addition, parametric study of SSL is done to predict probable malfunctioning due to misalignment or other fabrication and packaging errors. Measurement results also are presented to verify performance of FILTER. The FILTER displays a maximum passband insertion loss of 2 dB and a return loss of better than 10 dB over the passband. Band-edge steepness reaches over 50 dB at 5 GHz away from cut-off and out-of-band rejection is higher than 45 dB at entire stopband, which are in good agreement with simulation.

Abstract:

Liu et al. (1987) proposed a theoretical solution for scattering of WAVEs through a permeable dissipation region. On the basis of bulk dissipation of the incident WAVE energy, this method is extended to evaluate the reflection and transmission coefficients of WAVEs through a WAVE FILTER composed of rows of perforated sheets aligned normally to the direction of WAVE propagation The results of the theoretical model are verified by laboratory tests with regular WAVEs.

Abstract:

Charge and spin transport properties of a clean $SNS$ Josephson junction (triplet superconductor-normal metal-triplet superconductor) are studied using the quasiclassical Eilenberger equation of Green’s function. Our system consists of two p-WAVE superconducting crystals separated by a Copper nano layer. Effects of thickness of normal layer between superconductors on the spin and charge currents are investigated. Also misorientation between triplet superconductors which creates the spin current is another subject of this paper.

Abstract:

In this paper, an experimental solution has been developed for evaluation of transmission coefficients of water WAVEs through single perforated sheets and upright perforated WAVE FILTERs. Two series of laboratory tests were carried out on single perforated sheets and upright perforated WAVE FILTERs. Two kinds of perforated sheets and a wide range of WAVE steepness were used in these tests. The effects of WAVE and perforated plate parameters were investigated on the coefficient of WAVE transmission. Moreover, it is shown that the transmission coefficient through single perforated sheets and upright perforated WAVE FILTERs can be calculated using the WAVE-screen parameter defined by Chegini (1995). Finally, a new equation is presented to calculate the WAVE transmission coefficients through these porous structures.

Abstract:

Regarding the diagnostic value of F.WAVE in evaluation of a variety of neurologic disorders, and due to lack of normal values of F.WAVE in Iran, we measured F.WAVE latency of median and ulnar nerves in 50 healthy individuals in Shiraz, in 1997.This descriptive study was carried out on 50 volunteers in whom no abnormality found in neurologic examination. F.WAVE was recorded with subjects in sitting position and room temperature by Dantec Neuromatic 2000c electromyography.Stimulation was applied at wrist and elbow, recorded by surface electrodes placed on intrinsic hand muscles. At least 10 F.WAVEs were recorded in each site and the least F.WAVE latency was considered as minimal F.WAVE latency.Maximum normal F.WAVE latency for Median nerve was 25.7 ms for women and 28.5ms for men with simulation at the wrist. It was 23 ms and 25ms respectively with simulation at the elbow. Maximum normal F.WAVE latency for ulnar nerve was 26.4 ms for women and 28.9 ms for men with stimulation at the wrist. It was 23.1 ms and 25.3 ms for men and women respectively with stimulation at the elbow. Maximum normal difference in F.WAVE latency between right and left upper extremities with simulation at the wrist for total group was 2.2 ms for Median nerve and 2.4 ms for ulnar nerve. Maximum normal difference in F.WAVE latency between Median and ulnar nerve in an extremity with stimulation at the wrist for total group was 2.7ms.There was statistically significant difference in F.WAVE latency between women and men (P<0.05), which could be due to lower arm length in women than men.The study also revealed lower F.WAVE latencies, compared to other references, which may be due to lower height of Iranian than western countries.

Abstract:

Probabilistic data structures are so popular in membership queries, network applications, and databases and so on. Bloom FILTER and Cuckoo FILTER are two popular space efficient models that incorporate in set membership checking part of many important protocols. They are compact representations of data that use hash functions to randomize a set of items. Being able to store more elements while keeping a reasonable false positive probability is a key factor of design. A new algorithm is proposed to improve some of the performance properties of Cuckoo FILTER such as false positive rate and insertion performance and solve some drawbacks of the Cuckoo algorithm such as endless loop. Main characteristic of the Bloom FILTER is used to improve Cuckoo FILTER, so we have a smart Cuckoo FILTER which is modified by Bloom FILTER so called as SCFMBF. SCFMBF uses the same table of buckets as Cuckoo FILTER but instead of storing constant Fingerprints, it stores Bloom FILTERs. Bloom FILTERs can be accumulated in the table’ s buckets which leads to higher insertion feasibility. We also address the endless loop problem of Cuckoo FILTER that means an inserted item is stuck in an iterative process of finding an empty bucket, so a smart algorithm is designed which not only solves endless loop problems but also prevents insertion failure. Hence our smart algorithm prevents double checking of a bucket and avoids making loops. Consequently, the capacity of SCFMBF is improved significantly. Results of comparison with Cuckoo FILTER shows that false positive probability of SCFMBF method is enhanced compared to Cuckoo FILTER.

Abstract:

In this research, we studied isolation of the cellulolitic fungi from the persimmon tree, grapevine, pomegranate tree and walnut soils. Among of them, persimmon soil was selected because of maximum cellulolitic fungi. Seven fungi werw isolated from persimmon soil, which three of them had suitable cellulose activity and they were identificated by 18S rRNA and named: Aspergillus niger MZM 89-a2, Penicillium decumbens ZHE 89-p3, Penicillium decumbens MMH 89-p1. Cellulase activities of these fungi were respectively (U/d): FPA 3.1671, 3.5740, 3.1812 and Avicelase 1.6605, 0.3869, 1.1451 and CMCase 2.950, 0.2644, 0.4604. Response surface activity (RSM) was studied to evaluate the effects of temperature, moisture content and particle size for FPA by Aspergillus niger MZM 89-a2. The optimum FPA was in temperature, moisture content and particle size respectively: 28.49oC, 66.62٪ and 1.5-2 (mm). The maximum predicted FPA was 4.35 (U/g) and obtained FPA under this condition was 4.42 (U/g), which indicates the efficacy of the model for prediction of FPA activity under different conditions of the medium.
